The annual Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival returns, celebrating the iconic plant that makes the Cape so stunning from July through September. When you visit, pick up or download our self-guided tour through the grounds to discover more about Heritage’s eight species of hydrangeas and well over 170 exceptional cultivars. Stroll through the expanded North American Hydrangea Test Garden and the Cape Cod Hydrangea Society’s superb Display Garden, enjoying fabulous photo opportunities. Learn to identify and care for your hydrangeas from Cape Cod Hydrangea Society volunteers or at our hands-on Garden Discovery Cart, and take home one (or more!) of these signature plants from the special plant sale. There’s even a fun activity guide highlighting these amazing plants designed just for kids and families! All extra hydrangea-focused activities are free with museum admission or membership. No advance registration required.

Ticketing Information
Online ticket purchases are strongly encouraged, and allow for quick and easy entry. All tickets are date specific and are valid for entry any time between 10 am-4:30 pm. Please have paper tickets or mobile tickets available for scanning upon arrival. Tickets are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule your admission ticket’s date, please contact tickets@heritagemuseums.org prior to your scheduled visit. Heritage is open rain or shine, so don’t forget to dress for the elements!
